We've all grown tired of compilations that look all the same. That's why we've decided to make an official promotional video for melbshuffle.com!

The concept is easy to grasp. - We're looking for intense, short video clips of our members dancing. We're especially out for a lot of angles. Thus, we won't accept normal clips such as: "Hey, I'll place the camera here and shuffle about five metres from it, filming my entire body!"

Footage of only feet, legs, upperbody, head, torso, from above, from underneath, close ups, are fully accepted. We want you to experiment with angles, with environments and especially the typical view of how you record yourself dancing. Dance outdoors, in a club, in a forest, by a lake, industrial area, under water!...(?) Yet again you are the one with limitations. Dancing indoors will most likely cause your video to not be chosen.

Take some time, consider were you want to get your footage, come up with different and several angles. They don't have to be longer than ten seconds. We're not going to base this on style either, so just any style is accepted, as long as it's creative and innovative. Music will be dubbed later on.

When done, upload your RAW material to http://megaupload.com and send your footage to http://www.melbshuffle.com/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;u=1251.

Deadline will be September-ish. I want everyone to have time to think this through and come up with some splendid footage.

ill put a video with foot closeup from side ... think will be pretty awesome with some converse shoes ... mixed with my rm on the heel + hardstep ... ill film it 25 meters in the sea (where water isnt deep ;D cuz of the low tide! if anyone has more ideas let me know ;D

ps: cameraman wouldnt have an isi job here ;D

Is there a BPM? or any.... though I don't see how you'd make a compilation with people doing 21389719 diff BPMs, but ive never made one so.

Seeing as it's not going to be a compilation (thus I will be rejecting all classical footage, such as the example above in my original post), and all the sequences will be short, but many, that won't effect that much.

Roughly 145 BPM would be average.

wow, i hope i can make a video to these standards, how bout POV shuffling?...... nah then you couldnt see nothing, ill prolly just try shuffling at this one cool place near one of my tags and use realy interesting angles
