Melbshuffle.com is now "recruiting" DJs whom wish to receive a spot on our podcast team. As of August we will release a podcast every week. Our aim is to have six to eight different DJs, assigned their own genre taking turns mixing a podcast that will last for an hour. Since we're looking for a chance to promote DJs, we're going to pick serious DJs first. Thus, we're going to ask all the applicants to send us a promotional mix. Requirements:- DJ Equipment
- A microphone
- Basic DJing skills
- Ability to record to your computer
To apply, record yourself mixing a mix that will last for 30 minutes with the genre of your choice. Since we'll be looking for a broad variety in the genres, mixing an unusual genre might be an advantage. Please take notice that the genre you apply with will be the genre you're going to mix for the podcasts in the future. (So if you pick a genre like hard trance, expect a tight competition). In the beginning of your mix, grab the microphone and say: "Nickname's application for melbshuffle.com's podcast team." Save your mix and upload it to http://4shared.com. Iller, may I suggest you let them post the details here so the general public can access them as well? I mean, sure we'll get the podcast. But what about the people who don't get in? I personally would like to hear all the different mixes made by our members.  |
